Social media kicked off as a cool way to chat and connect, but it's ballooned thanks to ads everywhere. Now, it often views us as just buyers in waiting, so tons of that "free" stuff is really bait to snag your focus and pitch a sale.
Why all the mix-up with IELTS? Pop "IELTS expert" into Google, and boom—millions of hits flood in. For example, back in 2013, it was around 5 million sites. By July 2022, that skyrocketed to 25 million! And right now, in January 2026, it's a mind-blowing 41 million. No surprise there's so much confusion; with this explosion of "expert" advice sites, spotting the real deal feels like finding a needle in a haystack.
